Break it Down is a young organization, and we are pursuing several different initiatives within the community to reduce waste and support local agriculture. The full nature and extent of these projects will be based in part on feedback and support from the community. Our current projects include:

Austin has a rich and diverse group of social enterprises, and we are always interested in establishing new partnerships in the community to support not only increased composting, but healthier neighborhoods. We follow an open-ended process of development that allows us to stay flexible about the future – if there is an individual or organization that you think we should talk to, or you are part of an organization that would be interested in working with us on one of the projects above or other topics, please let us know.
